5 minutes more please

My twins were finishing their projects on “Multiculturalism in Australia” today, they have both worked really hard and produced two very impressive posters that depict Multiculturalism in Australia and all that that represents.

I couldn’t help thinking how fortunate we are to be exposed to so many different cultures, food, traditions, we really are a lucky nation and I’m so glad our children are being taught to appreciate this.

Multiculturalism is in my blood. My mother is Greek Orthodox, born in Turkey, she married my father who is half Greek half German, Catholic, also born in Turkey, they then immigrated to Australia in the late nineteen sixties where they lived and raised a family for sixteen years, wanting to be closer to family they decided to pack up and move to Athens Greece for 10years until finally returning back to Australia for good.
